Supporting the local community- schools out special!

As part of our commitment to create opportunities for every child to get involved in gymnastics and physical activity we are proud to work within our communities and provide support to our local schools in helping children enjoy physical activity and try new sports.

Here are a couple of examples of the great work our amazing teams are doing to open the door to our local schools to experience the joy of gymnastics:

After finishing the school term and experiencing Beth Tweddle Gymnastics in their PE lessons, we invited 2 year groups from this school in Bolton to come and celebrate the end of the year in our purpose built gymnastics centre. With the option to bring a parent/adult down with them we delivered a fun gymnastics session and had ourselves an end of term party, playing games and experiencing what it is like to use some of the specialist gymnastic equipment that they may not have had the chance to before!

Another amazing school we worked with as part of our national curriculum programme, Whiston Willis Primary Academy based in Merseyside, enjoyed their gymnastics sessions so much they chose to enter the Primary School games with their gymnastics routine! After lots of practice with our team and some extra support for the teaching team at the school to help them get ready for their competition we were amazed and proud when we got the following message-

“Hi, just competed for the finals. WE WON! Thanks for your help, the finishing touches helped them so much!”
