European Championships Brussels

Hannah Whelan leads Team GB to a 3rd place qualifying spot for the team final of the European Championships in Brussels.

The GB team of Liverpool gymnasts Hannah Whelan, Jenni Pinches and Rebecca Tunney along with Heathrow gymnast Danusia Francis and youngster from the Academy Ruby Harrold, put in 12 solid routines to qualify in 3rd for the final tomorrow.

The girls also managed to nail 4 event final spaces with Hannah Whelan taking a space on beam and floor, Rebecca Tunney also on floor and Ruby Harrold on bars!

You can watch the team final on the BBC red button Saturday 12th May at 2pm, or on BBC1 at 2.30pm. Finals will be shown on the red button on Sunday 13th May at 12.45pm.
